La Rozelle is in the V&A on the Saturday and Sunday Market. Their galettes are made right infront of you with only the best ingredients and are absolutely delicious! The staff is always very friendly, kind and helpful and I can only recommend having breakfast there whilst enjoying the beautiful views over Table Bay on a sunny day.

The crepes brought back memories of the crepes I would buy in Paris or a wonderful crepe restaurant in San Francisco. La Rozell is located in the Oranajecht Market near the V&A in Cape Town. I love and recommend the crepe with ham, cheese and egg crepe. Next time, I will order the Nutella crepe.

After having discovered La Rozell at the Oranjezicht City Farm Market near Waterfront where they are every weekends, we went to their new place to taste again their "crêpes". We are French from Brittany and we know a lot about crêpes and we had the feeling that this place is really better than many of "crepes" restaurants in our region. We enjoyed everything: the very warm welcome of the team and of course the tasty and delicious meals. Products are fresh and everything is prepared and cooked quickly front of you. We advice it 100%.

I read a very surprising comment down below about how bad, how expensive this place is… I’m from Brittany and enjoy galettes (not crêpes !) very much and this doesn’t match my experience. When I visited this place, I’ve heard the guy talking about getting up everyday at 01:00 to start making the galettes (saying there’re not fresh is ridiculous). One truth, the ham portion is small but it’s smoked ham, not cheap shop ham. A galette is always served crispy and that’s not over cooked. And finally, I’d like to know where to find a « complete » for 6,50€ (R130) in France… so, in short, the food served at this place is really great and I’ve enjoyed it several times. Oh! I almost forgot… crêpes are made with wheat flour; galettes with buckwheat flour and of course, it tastes different
